Durham Libraries and Teen Tech Camp

The Durham County Library is holding a Teen Tech Camp in August, teaching kids how to program in python on Raspberry Pis. The Python Software Foundation has made a donation to the camp, allowing each student to head home with their own Pi.

We’ve joined in too, and have printed up Raspberry Pi cases for the class:

This is a very cool example of how libraries can be part of maker culture. We really look forward to future ways we can join in with local libraries for future projects.
