Members of Splat Space receive 24/7 access to our hackerspace in Downtown Durham, free access to all workshops and classes (minus materials cost), ability to actively participate and contribute to a community of diverse and skilled members, and an active role in shaping the evolvement of the Triangle’s first and only hackerspace.

If you’re interested in being a member of Splat Space, come to one of our open events! If you can’t make it out during our open hours, contact us at info at splatspace.org and we can arrange to give you a tour of the space. New members need to complete a membership application, sign a member agreement, and obtain a sponsorship signature. First month’s dues are due upon new member sign up.

Full Membership – $50/month

• - 24×7 access to the physical space
• - Invitation to every Splat Space event (classes, parties, outings)
• - Discounted or free classes and workshops (minus materials fees)
• - Dedicated space to keep your personal projects and equipment
• - Access to meeting space (conference room) to hold meetings, free of charge
• - Discounts to local organizations that have partnered with us
• - Voting rights for where money should be spent, how the space should look, and other general decisions made by the group

Student Membership – $35/month

• - Includes all benefits of full membership at a discounted price for full-time students

Associate Membership – $20/month

• - Includes all benefits of full and student membership without 24/7 access or voting rights
